Once we got that internal problem sorted and the forest
level finished we started to work upon the first floor which was the bedroom
floor. Jasdev added in the bed, the drawer and the shutter. He got a bit more
on hands with the Unreal Engine 3 before I did. Teaching me how to add in assets
and texture them with our custom imported textures. I quickly got used to
adding in custom made assets and adding on the textures. Sometimes thought we
had problems adding on collision meshes. Jasdev we have to either add collision
mesh outside of engine (so the player wouldn’t go through the object) or it can
be automatically added in the Unreal Engine which sometimes worked or sometime
added a collision line in an unusual place.
Even though Jasdev was an artist he helped me a lot to start
developing the level which I thank him a lot for.
