On these two stairs
they have each a volume trigger each which starts the same
action whichever stairs you decide to take. When you hit this trigger
hidden trap doors will activate behind you not allowing you not to escape
what’s about to happen. At the exact same time a sound will play of ‘Alice’ the
manikin talking gibberish for 6.93 seconds also another action that happens
when you hit the trigger is some encounter music 10.25 seconds. At exact same
time of the trigger being touched ‘Alice’ the manikin along with two sound
clips will play simultaneously.
Alice the manikin
will move forward with a spot light above her head then sink into the ground.
Initially this was meant to be a trap room after this you was meant to die and
a screen would come up saying “you have died, unfortunate . . .” then respawn
back in the bedroom with the shutter down and the door open. This again was achieved
because of time issues sadly. Instead you just go down the stairs there would
be no hidden trap doors on the stairs to keep you in you'll just see
the ‘Alice’ the manikin animation scene along with the sounds and be able to
exit the room after.
Also initially ‘Alice’ the manikin was meant to have a
movable bone structure in Unreal engine so you could move the legs, arms ect independently.
I got this model off and site as it was being share for free ware for anyone to
use with bone rigged structure. I made and added the mask myself. Due to my and
Jasdevs basic knowledge with Unreal engine we didn’t know how to use a skeleton
rig inside of Unreal engine so we made all ‘Alice’ the manikin models static.
